You can easily retrieve a taken driving licence. You do not even have to take an exam or go abroad to get it.
The brd24.pl portal determined that suspicious driving licenses from Ukraine are offered by various companies on the internet. How does it work and whether you can legally drive on such a document in Poland or abroad?
‘The first package costs 1000 euros, and the document is from 2014. It is Crimean, 100 percent legal. The second package costs 3000 euros and the document is from 2018 plus you get certificate from the driving school’ - the company representative explains in a telephone conversation.
Driving license can be obtained within a forthnight or so days.The company from Ukraine boasts that it has already helped over 3,000 Poles, and among the clients it has government representatives. According to the regulations, Ukrainian documents can be easily exchanged for a Polish driving license.
More often people who have never had the right to drive vehicles but decide to work in transport companies decide to get fake driving licence.
‘They do not require you to go to Ukraine for an exam, you don’t have attend any courses. You just pay 1000 or 3000 euros and pick up your Ukrainian driver's license’ - explains Agnieszka Niewińska from brd24.pl.
