Truck collided with a passenger aeroplane

Aviation media from all over Europe circulate photos from the airport in Gdansk, Poland.

Pictures are showing the collision of two extremely different machines - a jet Airbus A320neo and a truck Mercedes Atego.

According to the local portal "Trojmiasto.pl", Mercedes was a maintenance truck responsible for the supply of water to the planes. The vehicle was working on the Airbus of the Hungarian airline Wizzair and for some reason it moved back under the middle of the fuselage. The truck was pressed to the ground and the crew of the machine immediately called the emergency services. Fortunately, nothing serious happened to the driver however the plane had to be temporarily decommissioned. Instead of a scheduled flight from Gdansk to Stockholm, it was sent for a technical inspection to verify any damage.
